Sandeep Bakhshi as ICICI Bank MD

Sandeep Bakhshi's appointment as Managing Director and CEO of the private lender for another three years has been confirmed by the RBI, according to the private sector ICICI Bank on Monday.

According to ICICI Bank's regulatory filing, Bakhshi's reappointment will be in effect from October 4, 2023, to October 3, 2026.

The hiring of Bakhshi for an additional three years has already received shareholder approval for the bank.
